So many of you know already that one of my liturgical pet peeves is too many starts - especially when accompanied by multiple “good morning” calls and too much “in this service, we will be” intros.
And… it’s hard to identify exactly what the opening block of a service should be, and when it gets excessive. One person’s fully rounded intro is another’s revving the engine so much it floods.
